Ulasan 2 Zero size files

Video yang diulas berasal dari channel computerphille dengan durasi 7 menit 50 detik dengan judul "zero size files". Bahasan pada video ini adalah mengenai kenapa ada file pada komputer yang dapaat berukuran nol. URL dari video ini adalah :  https://youtu.be/kiTTAbeqQKY

Pada video ini dijelaskan kenapa suatu file dapat memiliki ukuran nol. Dalam video ini author mendemokan pada komputernya dengan membuat file yg tidak berisi apa-apa. Padahal file tersebut memiliki nama file. Setelah mendemokan dijelaskan bahwa nama file dan ektensi disimpan terpisah dengan isi konten dari file tersebut yang disebut sebagai direktori dalam video terbut. Author menjelaskan dengan asumsi bahwa storage yang dipakai memliki format FAT.

Dari video yang telah ditonton kita dapat mempelajari bagaimana suatu file itu disimpan dalam suatu disk. Dalam suatu penyimpanan sekunder diketahui bahwa skema penyimpanan yang digunakan adalah penyimpan mengenai informasi file dan isi dari file itu sendiri. Hal ini menyebabkan operasi lookup atau browsing direktori lebih cepat karena penyimpanan antar direktori saling berdekatan.
